Rice has always been self-driven. He has taught himself the art of the deal regarding real estate investing. Thad uses the highly lucrative method of house flipping to acquire, renovate, and resale residential properties at a profit. Rice’s success in real estate has been due to his ability to obtain capital to purchase abandoned or foreclosed real estate. He then enlists contractors to bring the home up to code. Often, he will hire professionals to renovate these homes’ interiors or exteriors to secure a reasonable market rate. Thad Rice has been an alpine ski instructor for several local resorts in Salt Lake City and the surrounding communities. These include Mt. As a skilled ski instructor, Thad was entrusted with a special role as a coach for autistic and deaf clients. Private Pilot
Thad Rice learned to fly single-engine airplanes early in life. He attended ground school in Utah before he passed the test to obtain his private pilot’s license. Rice flies non-commercial aircraft for pleasure, charity, and business clients. He takes full responsibility for the safety of his passengers and crew, determines travel routes in consideration of weather conditions, and maintains constant situational awareness. It is likely that Thad’s calmness under pressure, which he has mastered with alpine skiing, makes him a trusted and reliable pilot. Expert Boat Operator
Growing up near the Great Salt Lake and many large rivers has certainly made Thad a lover of water sports. He is a trained sailor and knows how to handle a wide range of watercraft, including sailboats, fishing boats, kayaks, and power boats. When on the waters with friends or family, Thad follows safety protocols and continuously monitors weather patterns to ensure a fun and safe experience. When on larger watercraft, Rice works as part of a team and always takes a proactive stance. He is passionate about sailing because of the freedom it delivers and the challenge of constantly working with the elements for a smooth journey.
